Bundaberg is a major regional city centre and the nearest to Moore Park Beach - just 21 kms away. 

Bundaberg has  all the facilities to compliment your stay....   shopping centres, movie cinemas, ten pin bowls, cafes, pubs, restaurants, dive shops, etc.  

Bundaberg sits on the Burnett River where cruise boats leave

for the Coral Islands of Lady Elliott and Lady Musgrave. 
International yachts are regular visitors at the Marina.

Whale watching can be organized from Bundaberg as a day trip - ask us or the Tourist Office for details.

 August to October.

 

Mon Repos is an internationally famous rookery located on the coast just 20 minutes drive from Bundaberg.
The information centre and organized
sightings are well planned and very popular.

If you can't be bothered with this - take a rug and a bottle of wine down to our own beach and watch out for them there!
It is truly amazing to see these
animals laying and hatching.
The season is November to March.

 

Go wine tasting at a choice of wineries. Brichettos at Bargara and Wonbah to the north of Gin Gin. Buy direct from the cellars. Or travel the South Burnett wine trail!

Joy flights operate from the Bundaberg airport and there is a choice of trips. Another new and increasingly popular trip is on the Bundy Belle from the Mid Town Marina to the Port. From this you can organize a restaurant meal at Baltimore's or a casual time at the Lighthouse Pub.

 

 

            

 

Just off the coast are
the first two islands of the Great Barrier Reef--
Lady Elliot Island and
Lady Musgrave Island.
These islands boast some of the best diving
in the world and are
spectacularly abundant in bird-life.
Visits are either by
air or sea daily.
